2024 was the year of extremes for me...

The good was very good! The ministry was incorporated and we received our 501(c)(3) status from the IRS. We watched Jesus impact lives through our bible classes and ministry sessions. We witnessed miracles and answered prayers. Most of all, we witnessed many people accept Jesus Christ as their Savior!

There were also come challenges such as loss of friends and unexpected events. Sometimes, it seemed the new day was pressing in harder than the day before. Admittedly, I did not handle some of these challenges well. But, I called on Jesus and He gave me great strength through my weaknesses. He also surrounded me with His incredible people so He could keep me encouraged.

As I reflected and prayed on what 2024 was for me, I came to a realization. In order to move forward in 2025, I must make sure I learned everything God wanted me to learn in 2024.

Proverbs 24:14 says, "Know that wisdom is such (as honey) to your soul; if you find it, there will be a future and your hope will not be cut off."

2024 is officially a compilation of experiences and lessons that will be strong building blocks for the future. I learned. I have gained wisdom. I have a hope for the future.

God said in Isaiah 43:19, "Behold, I do a new thing; now it is springing forth, do you not see it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

I will finish 2024 in prayer and seeking what God needs to prepare me for next. I am looking forward to God's "new thing." I do see it, and I am surrendered and ready for 2025.

I hope you are, too!

To God be the glory!

Blessings and Shalom ... Erin
